This striking oil painting by Kevin Pawlowski of Paradise Found Studio captures the radiant presence of Blessed Carlo Acutis with contemporary realism. Painted on a stretched 16″ × 20″ canvas, Carlo is depicted at his computer, deeply absorbed in building a website that celebrates Eucharistic miracles. The composition balances crisp digital imagery with expressive brushwork—the figure of Carlo is rendered with lifelike detail, while the surrounding elements and background layers show energetic, painterly strokes that draw attention to texture and light.
Behind Carlo is a collage of screenshots blended with snippets of Carlo’s HTML and JavaScript code. These elements symbolize his early mastery of technology and his innovative use of the internet for evangelization. Pawlowski’s heavier brushwork on his hands and body contrast with the refined treatment of Carlo’s face, providing a dynamic visual tension that celebrates both realism and artistic interpretation. The result is a deeply moving tribute that marries faith, youth, and digital culture.

What Are Giclée Reproductions?

Giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) reproductions are high-quality prints of original artwork created using a specialized inkjet printing process. The term "Giclée" comes from the French word gicler, meaning "to spray," referencing the method of precisely spraying archival inks onto fine art paper or canvas. This advanced printing technique ensures exceptional detail and vibrant color accuracy, capturing the texture and nuances of the original piece.
Once printed, the canvas is stretched over a "stretcher" frame, a wooden framework designed to hold the canvas taut and maintain its structural integrity.
At Paradise Found Studio, Giclée reproductions of Kevin Pawlowski's artwork allow you to enjoy museum-quality pieces at an accessible price. Each print embodies the essence of the original creation, making it a perfect choice for collectors and art enthusiasts alike.

About Blessed Carlo Acutis:
Carlo Acutis (May 3, 1991 – October 12, 2006) was a British-born Italian teenager whose deep devotion to the Eucharist and tech-savviness earned him the title “God’s influencer.” Beginning at age 7, after his First Communion, Carlo felt a profound connection with the Eucharist and declared, “To always be united to Jesus: This is my life plan.” By his early teens, he was coding parish websites and creating an acclaimed online exhibition of Eucharistic miracles, spreading faith through the digital realm. His uplifting presence and compassion made a lasting impression on those around him.
Diagnosed with leukemia at 15, Carlo offered his suffering for the Church and the pope. He passed away in 2006, and his epitaph reads: “Keep loving, keep smiling, and go for great things.” Following the recognition of two miracles attributed to his intercession—one in 2020 and a second in May 2024—the Church beatified him in October 2020 and formally approved his cause for canonization.
Originally scheduled for canonization on April 27, 2025, during the Jubilee of Adolescents, the ceremony was postponed after the death of Pope Francis on April 21. On June 13, 2025, Pope Leo XIV announced that Blessed Carlo Acutis will be canonized alongside Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati on September 7, 2025, during a Mass at St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. This event will mark him as the first millennial saint, a landmark moment highlighting the Church’s embrace of modern digital evangelization.
